Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning of menus in order to facilitate the organization of food supplies and meal preparation
Assist the Kitchen Team Leader with inventory control, ordering, and shopping Working with the Kitchen team to coordinate and implement the daily meal service
Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area at all times
Follow safe food handling procedures in the delivery of the meal service
Assist in the planting, maintaining, harvesting of a small community garden
Participate in continuous quality improvement processes and assist the ALC Team with research and development of best practices
Promote and maintain a high standard of customer service that is client focused
