The Age Friendly Coordinator will manage the implementation, monitoring and updating of the Age-friendly Peterborough Community Action Plan.
Develop and implement programs that build community capacity, opportunities and address aging issues and services to seniors across the Greater Peterborough Area.
Support the Seniors Portfolio as a community-wide resource to aging and seniors’ related issues.
Oversee, manage, and administer the Age-friendly Peterborough Advisory Committee (AFPAC) and associated Working Groups and Task Forces.
Build strong partnerships and collaborate relationships with local leaders, staff, stakeholders, organizations, businesses, community members, and residents to advance common priorities and access to services is core to the role.
