Canadian Hearing Services
The Canadian Hearing Society has a long and rich history spanning 80 years of providing industry-leading services and products that empower Deaf and hard of hearing Canadians. Founded in 1940, it is the largest, most comprehensive resource for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals in Canada. CHS is an independent, registered non-profit organization which reinvests proceeds from product and program sales back into community services.
Cyber-Seniors’ mission is to bridge the digital divide and connect generations through technology. It does so through the development and dissemination of resources that enable community organizations to provide tech-training for senior citizens using an inter-generational, youth volunteer model. Youth are provided with lessons and learning activities to train them to act as digital mentors, and senior citizens gain access to effective technology training and inter-generational communities that keep them socially connected and engaged.
Seniors who wish to access the training tutorials (also available in French and Spanish) and the discussion forum can do so for free by calling 1-844-217-3057 to register. Mentors will also be available by telephone for seniors who cannot access the online platform. This is an important service to be able to provide senior citizens at this time of crisis.

Get Rid of Paperwork… NOW!
Since 2004, MySeniorCenter has been working with Older Adult Centres with one goal in mind – to eradicate paperwork. Our touchscreen-based check-in, tracking, scheduling and reporting system is specifically designed for Older Adult Centres. No more sign-in sheets, no more data entry into a spreadsheet, no more manual counting! And reports are available at your fingertips.
If you feel overwhelmed with paperwork now, it’s not going to get easier. Over the next 20 years, the number of seniors in Ontario will more than double. In fact, there’s a 20% increase coming in the next 3 years alone! That means more people qualifying for your services every day. And, since it’s unlikely that your budget will double in 3 years, you’ll need a new and more efficient way to track everyone’s services.
MySeniorCenter can help. It’s what we do – all day, every day.
Our partnership with OACAO allows us to offer a discounted rate to all OACAO members. If you’re interested in learning more, please let us know.
Newbridge Mortgage Inc. has been helping Canadian families in finding the right mortgage solution for over 20 years and we were recently awarded the “Best National Full Service Brokerage Awards” by the Mortgage Awards of Excellence. This means one can take a temporary or even permanent holiday from their mortgage payments if one so choose at anytime. To learn how you may qualify for this program or make an appointment to speak with one of our licensed advisors, please visit us at www.mortagefreedom65.ca or click here to watch a video.
